A vegan burger made with black beans, rice, oats, and chopped veg! Prep time includes time to cook rice.
Place black beans in large bowl and mash with a fork until a chunky consistency is achieved.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onions, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms, and cook until softened.
Add rice, cooked vegetables, and spices to bowl with black beans. Mix until evenly combined.
Divide mixture into fourths. Form into patties.
Cook patties on grill (or grill pan) until slightly charred and firm.
