Rinse and dry the cod. Preheat skillet with oil for frying.
Put flour in a wide, flat dish. In a second dish, add beaten egg.
Combine salt, pepper, seasonings and breadcrumbs in a third wide, flat dish and mix thoroughly.
Prepare the fillet by first dipping thoroughly in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs to coat completely. Immediately add to hot frypan.
Cook 3 minutes each side or until done.
