Homemade croutons are super easy to make and so much tastier than store bought!

 10 oz Loaf of bread (a crusty French or Italian loaf works best!)
 3 tbsp Olive oil
 ¼ tsp Garlic powder
 ½ tsp Salt (more or less to taste)
  tsp Freshly ground black pepper (more to taste)

Preheat oven to 350F/175C

Chop bread into 3/4 inch cubes.

Toss bread, olive oil, and spices in a bowl (or shake in a produce bag!) until evenly coated.

Spread bread cubes evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway, or until the croutons reach your desired level of crispiness. Note that the baking time will be dependent on the density of your bread, so check every 5 minutes or so!
